We are ALL Sinners: The Bible says: "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", Romans 3:23. "All" means you and everyone else that has ever- and will ever- live. It just means that no one is perfect, something you already know. We ALL sin and it is sin that separates us from God, because God cannot be in the presence of sin. Being separated from God is spiritual death. That's why we need to be changed to be "saved". If we are spiritually dead because of our sin, then we need to be given a new life. 

How do we get to be with God? God has made a way for us through His precious son Jesus (the Word). The Bible states that Jesus was always with God, John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." When Jesus became flesh and died on the cross for our sins, this was victory over death and sin. Through this act we see the love of our Creator (God) John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

No matter who you are or what you have done, forgiveness is available to you. All you need to do is ask. There is nothing you can do to earn being forgiven by God, it's a free gift from God that you get by faith, simply by believing in Jesus and what he did for you. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works (the "good deeds" you have done), so that no one can boast."

How do I accept Jesus? It is very simple to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified (made right with God), and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

If you want to ask Jesus to come into your life and forgive your sins and make you right with God, you just need to pray a prayer, something like this one, and mean it with all your heart: "Father, thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for my sins. I believe in my heart that Jesus is your son. I believe that He was crucified and rose on the third day. Your Word says that if I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord, I will be saved. Jesus, I ask that you please come into my heart, be my Savior and Lord of my life. Thank you for saving me, In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

If you prayed this prayer, you have done the most important thing in your life, ever. Now, grow in the Lord by reading your Bible daily, praying (talking to God) DAILY.  And when you go to church, open your Bible to each scripture that is being told to you, ask God to let you have His Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding in order to discern (know) what is the truth and what may be false that is being told to you.
